About the Youth Club

PickingThe Epping RSL Youth Club was formed back in the early 1960’s to cater for swimmers of all levels – with a focus on fun family involvement. Parents also swim on Sunday mornings, in a unique opportunity for the whole family to exercise together.

The club encourages swimmers of all abilities to enjoy both the social and competitive aspects of swimming. The club has developed many talented swimmers over the years.

The club's objectives are:

  • To promote, encourage and teach the arts of swimming and life saving in a family friendly environment.
  • To provide an opportunity for health and fitness for Mums, Dads, and children.
  • To promote an environment in which youth develop self-esteem, self-confidence, and a motivation to succeed.
  • For our swimmers to develop skills which contribute to the benefit of the wider community and act as positive role models to all the Epping Community, according to the RSL Youth Club Code of Ethics.

Success is judged by all parents, children, and officials working together (all officials are volunteer parents).
